top handle thought

has anyone ever seen a top handle w
say a 12-14 volt starter. with the new batteries,seems like they could comeup with somethin. mite find a home with an old man like me. if it was a good saw too. thats still the most important.dont want to be having chainsaw problems up in a tree.

I think the whole 10 series (3-10, 10-10, etc) was available in a x-10E version. Not quite a top-handle saw, but it's there...

The current 18 volt battery saws have a four inch blade I believe. Once battery technology allow for a 12-14" bar I bet all climbing saws will be battery powered
