Almost kept cutting this into firewood rounds then got to thinking... Got five of them. Red Maple. Already sold one for $400

Nice! I see the tape measure stretched there.... how wide is it?
$400 is a nice number for a slab!


We just dropped a big fir that has a pretty health "Pickle Fork" split at the top.
Usually the joint is rotten but , this one is pretty good.
The subordinate side is about 25% smaller than the big side.
Overall it's about 55" wide overall so for me,... it's going to have to wait until I get a bigger bar here.

Looks good. Seems like a slab that would be nice do one of those river tables that are all the rage. Either with epoxy or glass.
