Trimmer covers color restorer

I have been given a old stihl fs85pro trimmer. It is weathered, worn and is discolored. Does anyone have a recommendation of a color restoration product. I would like to bring back the original orange and black colors. I have tried Armour All, WD40 and a couple cheap restorers. They look shiny during application but after drying they return to their faded colors. Any suggestions or recommendations will be considered. Thanks

Maybe some kind of wax or clear coat them.

Paint for plastic.

Perhaps heat would work? This method seems common for ATV's and automotive plastics.
