triple sling eye splices

Check out sherrilltree.com item 36654. How does one put put 2 eyes on the end of a piece of tenex like this? Would it be reasonable to make this using more affordable steel eye splices instead of these pricey x rigging thimbles? I've done a single brummel eye but have been unable to find any info on a double wye like this.

I believe those are made with 2 separate lengths of tenex. Basically two deadeyes that are brummeled together.
You can also splice two rings in the same piece of tenex. Basically find your mid point and splice a ring on either side with an lb.

This is one solid piece of cordage. I've spliced a few of these.
