I recently bought this place and so I have all kinds of questions about these trees. Forgive the nonstop posts. Here's another big white pine leaning a bit toward the cabin. Looks great, except for this little rotten spot at the bottom. I took pics from distances to give some scale. You can see in the close pic that I was able to push my fingers into it. I also clawed down a little and was able to get my hand underground in a spongy area below the surface. To the left and right of this the spot is not soft, including that protruding part just left of it. Is it doomed?
