I have what I considered to be a healthy tulip poplar. It’s fairly large and is now some of the foliage is turning yellow and its losing leaves. I’ve read that this can be normal for a poplar but my neighbors is dark green. I’m concerned because we planted some shrubs near the tree and also ran a fence near it. Not to mention a few limbs on the bottom were damaged by some equipment.

Is there anything I need to do or is this normal for this tree?

A picture of the shrubs and fence and their proximity to the tree would be helpful.
