Hi davefr, unless you are able to get smaller bottles of MX2T than I can get locally you would have to mix an awful lot of gas with a bottle to even get to 50:1. Smallest bottles I have seen are a pint so you would need roughly 7.5 gallons of gas. That`s the beauty of a Ratio Right or something along those lines, mix what you want at the ratio you want.

Thanks!! When I use the manufacturer's oil I usually use .9 gallons of premium gasoline with a small bottle of 50:1 oil. What doesn't get used in a few months goes in my truck.

I hear good things about MX2T so I think I'll try some and use it in a 40:1 ratio.

I also hear good things about Amsoil 100:1 but I'm not ready to overcome that psychological barrier!!! (I still remember the 16:1 era)
