I've done that but cannot get a response from the seller. I had to file a claim with eBay also. To be honest this is the first issue I've had in a long time. We order stuff weekly. The usps tracking tool has been out of order for at least two days now.

As I said, you need to call the first post office.
The seller likely doesn't "check" things constantly, like most online folks assume. There are no notifications that a shipment hasn't arrived, or what ever.
But believe me, if the part is lost, you will get your money back...
