Hi
After searching for hours and spending a lot of time on the machine, I'm at a dead end.
The feed wheel bearings on my 1800xl need to be replaced.
I can't figure out how to remove the verticle shaft that the feed wheel is mounted to.
The motor is removed from the top, the bolts on the collar on the bottom (opposite the motor) are off. I tried using a puller for that collar and it wouldn't budge.
I cleaned everything and can't find any other connections.
Any help would be appreciated.
Also sorry if I have posted incorrectly, this is my first time here, I can learn.

Hi Randy,

You'll have to cut or burn the bearings off the shaft. Then clean up the shaft with emery paper where the bearings seat. If the bearings cut a groove in the shaft, you'll have to purchase a new feed roller with shaft unless the shaft can be replaced. Very hard to remove bearings that have been on a while with a puller.

Hope this helps!
