I purchased a new CTX100 from vermeer this year and honestly the thing is a beast. Overall I am very happy with the purchase. However, I have had an ongoing issue with it. On cold morning where the temps get down in the teens the thing will stat then die after about 30 secs. Vermeer said it was probably frozen water in the water separator, so I pulled fuel filter thawed it out and there was water frozen in the bottom. However, after reinstalling and priming it did not fix the issue. Had to run a bullet heater aimed at engine block for 15minutes in order to get it to start. Has anyone else run I to an issue like this where water in the fuel may be freezing in the lines? I just don't know what would cause this condition. I does it on nights that are only down in the low 20s also. Anyone else having cold weather starting/running issues?
