again, I don't have use for any of these, just looking to trade for something useful ... anyone?

I'd be interested in the 063 gauge chains, both the 3/8 and .325 full chisel full comp. Numbers 5, 7, and 11 on your list. I've already gotten rid of most of my non 063 gauge stuff, so unfortunately I might not have anything you'd want in trade. I do have a partial 25' reel of oregon 404 skip, and I could probably spin a loop any size you need. Or if you'd like to sell, shoot me a PM.

Team Stihl here... I've got a 3003 mount, 28" 3/8 063 Oregon reduced weight and 3-4 chains for that, all round filed 10 degrees for milling. I don't run that setup as much anymore as I'm starting to prefer 404.

I'm looking to make them into some playtime chains. I could trade cash, then you could trade that for stuff that you want. :D

So what you need Mattyo isn't to trade chains, it's to get a breaker spinner combo and turn what you have into what you need. A better long term solution even though it won't benefit the USPS.
I happen to have a nice breaker/spinner available so if you're interested, PM me. (It's a Foley Belsaw brand).

updated, added a few more and i've made sure hit all of these w/ the grinder. again, rakers will need to be adjusted to suit.

this should be it for the random lot. 19 chains total. let me know what they are worth, prefer to trade the whole lot at once!

I have what is on the list to trade.

73lgx068g is what you are looking for 68dl 058 ....my dad uses that size so if I had some I'd be keeping them.

my "best case" scenario for this grab bag/ trade is simple. to trade my unwanted chains for a few chains that I can actually use. the guy that gets my grab bag of chains then adds to it and subtracts as he needs, then trades to the next guy, round robin style. eventually there will be a huge box of chains going around.

alas....it has not happened. everyone seems to want to trade for a specific chain, which is silly because shipping a single chain is insane due to the cost of shipping. oh well

I got a big box of these chains from Matt a couple months ago. They were not "junk" chains by any stretch - most still had 80-90% life on them.

Did you ever get a breaker, Matt? That's the best (perhaps the only?) way to deal with a random lot of chains like this.

You'd hope a "chainsaw guru" would own a complete set of tools for "chains", and could handle adding 1 DL to #9. (3/8 058 67DL) Perhaps that is expecting too much.

I haven't gotten a breaker yet.

I really don't want to mess with these any more than I have. I've spent some hours sharpening them.....so it would be nice to have someone take these off my hands in favor of a few chains that I can use without adding or sub links.

You can just use a grinder and grind off the heads of the rivets and then use a punch. Bit more work than a breaker, but it still works fine.
