Def not. I'd just SRT'd up on a cinched Running Bowline and switched over to DRT, had nothing good to tie in to advance so I did a temp "SRT lanyard" with my short lanyard and did the same with my main rope. Works in a pinch when you want to work your way up a short distance to get within reach of something to make your next move. I don't use the technique much but ended up using in two different trees that day, Canopyboy probably thought I was nuts

15' lanyard up top, main climbing rope below, inchy inchy to move up.

Nice. 102' cherry, whoa

It's a super fine tree. The upper crown limbs look exactly like all the twisty small Black Cherry you see everywhere, difference being the massive leaders and trunk underneath supporting it.
