Hello everyone!

I have a 60-70 year old weeping willow out by the lake that's now about 60 ft tall. Over the last 7 or 8 years parts of it have been dying. I don't have any experience with willows and would appreciate any help you could give me. Pictures are attached below. The bark is peeling back in many places and the wood underneath is soft (Large chunks of it disintegrate when poked/levered off with a stick). There are also small holes all over the wood but I haven't seen any grubs/borers with my own eyes. Would appreciate a diagnosis and advice on how I could treat it. Thanks in advance!
