What tree is this?

    I always referred to it as a california maple, but apparently such a tree does not exist. Does anyone know what tree this really is? It grows everywhere!

    Looks like a weed tree of some sort.
    It almost resembles "box elder" here in Michigan.
    Except yours has 6 leaves.

    Acer negrundo Ash leaved maple, boxelder in my opinion.

    its a box elder, they suck...shed and drop all summer long...it is in the maple family.grow like weeds

    Yes Acer negrundo is a weed the common names are: Ash leaved maple,
    and boxelder!
