found this saw for sale, 400 CAD non x-torq but what year is it, they say its different on the serial tag every year or something so i thought I'd just post it for someone to decypher, im guessing 96 but don't know, thanks.

how much are these non x-torq saws going for these days, is 400 CAD ~ 300USD good deal or just pretty standard

It's a good deal in these parts. Around here a 300 quid 372 is almost guaranteed to have an after-market cylinder.
