Just picked up a 361 with a 20" bar wrapped with there yellow chain yesterday. Good thing is I still don't have cancer, or at least I'm not aware that I do. So it must be working already.
I was hoping it would cure these planter warts that I am treating, they hurt like bastard.
I haven't had a chance to run it in the wood pile yet, but I will as soon as i can bare some more weight on my foot.
I also picked up a sthil maul, its a 6 pounder i believe and feels pretty well balanced. The handle is beef, I think it measures 33". I split 1 round real quick last night, and it laughed at it, there was a good sized know in it too. Almost effortless. Real sharp edge, and good steel, not cheap though, but there mauls have a good reputation. I will probably pick up a fiskars to go along with it, but I like longer handles, I like my feet, even though it hurts like hell.
What is the sharpening angle for a maul? Is there a good hand filing guide tool available?
I probably won't be modding the 361 for a bit, I will add some real dawgs, but I will run it as is until the 2 years is up is up
