Looking at his 30 or so videos that s how he cuts all the trees. Just because t is different does not make it wrong. While stationed in Germany that is how I saw the trees being cut, guys clad head to toe in PPE, making careful cuts and dropping the trees just where they wanted them. Marcell is from Hungary and I do not think forestry is high on the nations industries.
When people make careful cuts which line up with their other cuts, I have no issues with the method employed

Very different for sure, the saw sounds out of tune and racing down from idle, lean or low on fuel. I like the way he puts the bar nose right into the ground!!!!! EEEEKK

I could't tell what kind of saw it is for sure. Prolly a husky looking at the dudes clothes???

The brand "Stihl" is clearly visible at the 0:31 second mark of the video, and the guy is wearing an orange jacket with the name "Stihl" on the back.
Very strange sawing technique. When I cut so close to the ground, I have to sharpen the cutting teeth twice as often, so much sand and grit in the bark and wood.

What if that tree had some lean to it and barber chaired on him? Completely defenseless position while doing potentially dangerous work. That's also got to be insanely rough on your back. I wonder how often this guy has to sharpen or replace his chains?

Looks fine to me. Lots of judgemental people here... The tree fell nicely. Good enough for me.
Honestly, the guy was lucky. And he obviously cut the tree where the tree want to fall. This job could be dangerous, and often luck isn't enough to stay alive.
