Why is Echo shipping Oregon chains instead of Echo chains?

Just a curiosity. Is it just because they're better? My CS-590 came with an Oregon but I bought an Echo chain as replacement. Then thought "wait a min... Why didn't I just buy the 'Echo-recommended' chain?" Haven't tried the new one out yet.

When i sold Echo saws, pretty sure they came with Oregon chain out the box. I think their pro-bars are rebadged Tsumura too.

US bars are all Blount/Oregon. The shape of replaceable sprocket says it all.
Tsumura/Sugihara are the standard “rest of the world” bars.
