I want to personally thank the following people, I hope I get all the names right; Walt, Tim, Chris, Larry, James and Bob. All these fellas came to my home where we operate the Wood Ministry and gave of their Saturday morning and afternoon to help cut a PILE of firewood for us. In all they cut 3 full triaxles of wood. They were like a bunch of happy beavers doing what they do best, eat wood! LOL.
Also, I would like to thank Scott and Joe, that while they couldn't make the cutting event because they were at a job, they did donate and deliver a huge trailer and truck load of freshly cut maple trees. Again, thank you all so very much from the bottom of mine and my wife's heart for your time and generosity.

Just a heads up, if enough people are interested I spoke to Scott and we just may have a HUGE get together next spring including roasting/BBQing a whole hog. We will have the pool to swim in, I'll make sure we have enough wood to cut as much as you'd like and just have a huge friendly get together. Let me know your thoughts.

I couldn't make it this year. Looks like a good time was had! If you've got wood left to cut I might be able to make a day in the June 6-14 range. I'm retired so doesn't have to be a weekend. If the works obvious, you wouldn't even need to be available. If it works out I could show up and give you a days cutting. Let me know.

Looks different than it did last year, must be a different angle.

The second pick is where all the splitters where last year. No splitters this year. Just cut till you run out of gas take a break refuel file and go again.
Or swap chains. Seems I was the only hand filer there. Hit something in a hollow log and wiped the chain out once that took a little work to fix but not to bad. Think I'll get a short bar 404 setup for the 7910 for next time. Should hold up better in the dirty stuff at the bottom of the piles.
