I have a Country C210 stove, most recently made by Lenox. Its one of the EPA garbage ones. Just cleaned the chimney liner like i do every fall before i start it.
anyway, when this thing is going, it makes an odor. like paint maybe. is there any reason for this other than a bad paint job? I dont think it has been repainted, certainly dosent look like it.
Parents had a Harman stove growing up and that never made a scent. this thing stinks and i am currently firing it hard in hopes of baking whatever is making the stink, much like i do every year.
is there any way to identify the stink? or just chuck the stove and move on?
