I was in northern tool buying a new hydraulic valve the other day and seen this tool.

I'm sure it would be pretty slick for making kindling but I don't think it's worth $100. I've never needed to make kindling, I just use scraps for that.

Anybody used this?

There's another thread in here from a few months ago on that thing. I think the consensus was that will only work on perfectly straight grained soft wood.

Deadblow hammer


deadly hammer, razor sharp wedge welded to a steel plate, bolted to a wood block(splinters) which could be dropped on a foot easily dismembering you, wood that you could get splinters from, leather gloves that you could have an allergic reaction from... should I keep going????:crazy2::crazy2::crazy2::crazy2::crazy2::crazy2::crazy2::crazy2::crazy2::crazy2::crazy2::crazy2:all of you scare me!
