Decieded to try to get this old Homelite Zip running again. Put a carb kit in it and she fired up after a few pulls. I have never really cut wood with a really old saw before so I didn't know what to expect. After getting it going I realized that these old saws really don't rev up like a newer stihl. So I took it out back and laid it in a nice piece of Maple and it cut great. These old saws really have some low end, even at such a slow RPM it just clicks along. Pretty cool to actually get an old saw going and cutting with it. Anyway, I thought it was cool to use a saw thats sixty years old.View attachment 226592View attachment 226593View attachment 226594
