Best or easiest way to tighten skidder tire chains

I use old trampoline springs stretched and attached at 6 or more places around the circumference.
 
Easy trick is to put a bungee around the 2 ends pulling them together, drive around for a bit and all the slack will work it's way to the ends then you can re-latch it easily.
 
My logging friends use a tool they had made.

Grabs the chains and pulls them together in a scissor motion to be latched.

Uses a threaded rod with a welded nut on it. Then battery powered impact to work it.

Makes it very easy to get on and off and to do chain repairs.
