Hey guys I have an opportunity to buy these 2 saws today. I love echo but never owned one of there saws. Should I jump on this deal?
That's a good buy if you want them. The 590 has a very good reputation of durability.

Time will tell. I got both there first break in tanks done today. Tomorrow ill get them in some easy wood for 2 more tanks then its letter rip tater chip time. I'll say this i can already tell the 3510 is a absolute powerhouse screamer. I'm kinda looking forward to that more then the 590 but I'm sure once I really get buckin with the 590 ill be more then pleased. Echo is high quality stuff no doubt.2 good saws for a smidge over $500 isn't a bad day at all...
I have thought about a CS-590 as my "throw-down" saw.

One is a 34.4cc retailed at 259 the other is 59.8cc retailed at 459 With 20in bar. There both great pro grade saws with more power then any in there class. I got both brand new never fired for 500. There going to be my backup saws to my ms180c and my Chinese 62cc saws that run flawlessly. No idea what those saws are but I dont think theyre a pair of 70cc saws at that price
Thanks homie. Yea ever since my neighbor gave me his srm2100 that was behind his shop half buried in the dirt and I tore it down cleaned everything slapped it back together and have a nasty running little straight shaft trimmer I was sold on echo and the quality of there product. I'm curious if the 590 can run bigger than a 24in bar since I've already got a saw that I keep a 20in on most of the time. Id like to toss a 28in with a skip tooth on it and see how she did. I got alot of oak out were im at too. That blackjack is no joke sometimes. I wish I had more red around there beautiful boards. All my echo products have been good to me but I'm no professional. 2 590 3 400 their biggest back pack blower and 2 straitshaft trimmers. I thought mine cut red oak pretty good but I never ran anything other than echo or mcculloch 610/650. 24" oregon bar and I upgraded the felling spikes to a larger 2 PC setup instead of the 1 it came with. Congrats on the echos!
That That our first echo purchase 25+ years ago and put brush blade on and rocked it hard. Still works great only primer bulb new fuel lines and a new drive cable. Still runs great. Thanks homie. Yea I hope one day to have a pro 60cc or bigger saw. Not sure how the old Mac 650 is in power but that's about all I got in 60 cc saws says h.o on itOnce you have run a true "pro-grade" 60cc saw or ten you will understand where that Echo 590 really fits in. Not slamming it whatsoever. I own one and I like it, but straight-up competition for the true pro offerings it is not.
in any case I don't think you could go wrong at that price. I haven't a clue about the 3510..
Wow how cool. They definitely rock. I was shocked to find out it was only 21cc. So do you have any advise on things to do and look out for on my new 590. Clutch is making a chirping sound. Bearing is greased too. Washer maybe? I was looking at the oversized dogs too how do you like them? That That our first echo purchase 25+ years ago and put brush blade on and rocked it hard. the pro saws rev faster, rev higher, and have more power. Some not so much in the "midrange", some even less in the "midrange", but all the 60cc pro saws I have run simply have more top end. Plenty more. It's like they have an extra gear..And they handle better. And they are probably a little lighter, and the overall ergonomics are better. But the cs590 chugs away quite nicely anyway.
oh, and 36" bar on 60cc saw
in good
Wow how cool. They definitely rock. So what should I watch for on my new 590. What upgrades have you done? I was definitely going to get the double oversized dogs. That That our first echo purchase 25+ years ago and put brush blade on and rocked it hard. Who said something about a 36inthe pro saws rev faster, rev higher, and have more power. oh, and 36" bar on 60cc saw
in good humour that is..
Go for it I bought a 590 3 years ago first thing I did with it was cut 3000 linear ft. of boards from 10 inch logs. Wide open for hours. Auto feed chainsaw mill. Used a 26 inch ripping chain-bar. Still use it for bucking firewood, now. 18 inch bar, jig sharpen only, goes thru a 16 inch maple log no pressure no bog no fixing. Important to clean air filter and or replace - and back flow fuel filter in tank or replace.Hey guys I have an opportunity to buy these 2 saws today. I love echo but never owned one of there saws.
