Fourstroke bikes have crippled me riders do to heavy bikes. Doug Henry, a few others. I built older 2 stroke husky bikes. Air cooled is where I want to be, no coolant, no water pump. When I’m miles down the pipeline in mass. Can’t break down. What a ride on the pipe.
Michigan around Grayling area has over the top scenery with hilly loamy traction and well maintained extensive networks of trails. especially good after rains.Porcupines, bears,coyotes may be seen.Several 90 mph jeep trails if you dare.Used to have to buy a yearly State of Michigan ORV pass.A trail rider would want to live there, or even a golfer, or a fisherman or a snowmobiler I guess.
 
Leave the cams stock. Open the intake and exhaust ports for easier flow.

Can we purchase gaskets? From senix?
 
Removed the baffle in the muffler, changed from a 6T spur sprocket to a 7T rim sprocket, and replaced the safety chain with 3/8LP full chisel.
Does it take a rim? Stay with the skip tooth chain and try a 8 pin rim? If it fits ill unbox my senix tonight!.
 
I unpacked my senix today and my g288 both are ok.

Well they make four stroke leaf blowers and trimmers in the past. They have some experience with them. If they have the quality down we’re ok.,
I think the electric smaller saws will rule someday.
 
What Honda model is it a clone of? The 35cc bursh cutter/string trimmer is an overhead cam that the cam belt is spaced far away from the cylinder that air can circulate in that space. That is the only all position Honda I know of it does come in 25cc as well.
What is the rim drive assembly in post # 132 from? I thought the clutch looked like the one on my Efco 132s.

Certainly, does look like there is room for bigger valves if done a bit different. Also the bolts holding down the cylinder are spaced far out probably for the larger displacement versions.

Internal parts are identical to the Honda gx31 but the main difference is the cylinder can be removed with splitting the block.
