Your opinion on the optimal gauge/pitch for 14"/20"/25" bars

Stihl makes the chains at every thickness, .043, .050, .056 and .063.
I prefer using chains at .050 at my 50 to 80ccm saws, at smaller saws I use .043 - thats a "lot" of performance increase.
Maybe Philbert Will post his literature on Stihl Chain... I was reflecting on 3/8" chain but failed to mention that.

Ok, all my 3/8 chains - both regular and ripping chains are .050. Those are used on 70 to 80ccm saws.
But for the standard Logosol mill with a MS661, the Stihl ripping chain recommended is .050 - and its the best ;)
 
Huskys .325” .050” / .058”. (240se, 444sg, 353 )
Huskys 3/8” .050”/.058” (266 / 268/ 365/ 371, 372, 575/385)
Huskys 404” / .063” husky 2190/2101.
