Looking to sell this 024 super power head. I purchased this from here over a year ago. Used it a little here and there. Been a while since shes been run. Have it all boxed up already due to a guy on Facebook marketplace who backed out. Piston and cylinder are good. Has a small muffler mod. Can include an aftermarket clutch cover

$200 plus paypal fees and shipping

I bought one of these years ago with 25" bar on it, whooped AV mounts and a dull chain lol
Tough little saws

WOW! Skip or full comp?

A 25" bar on an 024. That person must've thought the saw numbers mean how many inches it can run.

I thought it was crazy when a used one I picked up had a 20" .325 bar and chain on it.

I've a couple that I have 16" 3/8 setup on, but I haven't gotten around to testing them much. Gotta sand some plastic down on the chain guides.

I like your analogy.
I'm just getting use to 325 on an 034 18" lw bar.
The chain needs a bunch of help off the roll Oregon full comp full chisel. The 16" in 375 RS is a bit jumpy on that short bar with small limbs. 18" 375 isn't too bad on a 60cc saw with an eight or ten pin for the bigger CC saws bucking hardwoods. I like to stick with light and fast and have no love for saws under 56cc. No love for 70-80cc either. 60, 90ish, 120ish suits my needs most times and the 200T.

Those 024/026 saws are tough as nails. The thing had full skip semi chisel on it hanging down about an inch. Clogged oil pump pickup and the bar was smoked, worn out and junk. No adjustment left but why bother with no oil and dull cutters. It had one good AV mount and it was packed with gummy goo everywhere. Once cleaned it got some rubber parts, a carb kit and not much else. The saw looked nice still and all the powder was fine. Even the pto parts were good. That fool probably hadn't owned it that long.

Doc has had a three foot bar one 026/260 he ported just messing around with it. Dallas has a mean 026 with a pipe on it and just gasoline. It rips like an 80cc saw or bigger. It's fast on stock chain.

@OP
This thing sold yet?

Damn, how is this saw still available? I'm guessing it's because seller is a fairly new member. Tends to make folks nervous, but it looks like he'll take PayPal if you cover the fees, so should be low risk purchase.

Anyway, GLWS.

Yes sir. I prefer paypal. I have sold a few things on here over the past year. Pickup is also an option if someone is close to Poughkeepsie ny

I would like to buy it. Just saw this post, already have an 024 not a super but have wanted 5e super for a while. Paypal
