You stalker  .
Funny how people put stuff out in the public, then get upset about you reading it or seeing it :buttkick:.
Kinda in the same line is when I ask people how much they paid for their home, then they say private, that's when I look it up on zillow and tell them no it's not:dancing:. What they would be really surprised to know is their loan/lean info isn't either:crazy2:.
Hmmm? 🤔Interesting post.

You know, I agree with you completely on the 550. Loved my mk1. I don’t know why they would add weight to a saw that was supposed to be like in nimble with good power in order to add a little power.
It was pretty stupid if you ask me. They went thru all the iterations/updates, and fixed the problems, then they tossed it all out the window :rare2:.
What's funny is they did the very same thing with the 562, even updating the case(same thing they did to the 371), and it's still selling well. I have no idea why they did that, then again I'm not privy to such highly secretive information as why they would do this, I'm sure theres a reason that makes perfect sense ;).

Well Gentlemen. My new used automobile.
2008 3500 Duramax with Allison transmission. Either it will work or it won't.

That'll never work, you won't be able to find it in all the snow 🤣.
I'm sure a nice reflective orange stripe down the side that says "Stihl" at the end would help :).
Congrats on the purchase.

Took it to my good friends house during .y test drive. He is a 40 year oilfield master mechanic retired. We put it on his lift for a close look under the vehicle as well as a thorough engine inspection. He looked right at me and said. "I've delt with a lot of these trucks. Every year, make, and model pickup has its pros and cons. This one has been well maintained and taken care of. I would consider buying this pickup myself! If you decide yes. It would be a wise purchase".

Who am I to question someone with his kind of experience? 🤷

Time to break in the little demon, for a little while, that thing pretty hot outta the box , wakes up even more with the mods 👍View attachment 1067310
What mods? I've had mine a couple years and have not altered it except for swapping out the factory semi-chisel for full chisel .325 Oregon. Mine is scheduled for a trip to the speed shop in the near future, hopefully be done just about time the snow melts here.

Very stupid. But clearly it seems like they’ve sat on their haunches for most of the last few years, rather than improving and updating.

Duel ported the muffler, there way to restricted from factory, you will see the difference right away, and frogzskins air vents to the air box , breathe better . A some WCS dogs those stock ones are a joke 😆

I bought my MKI brand new from a member on here when the MKII was just coming out. It was a good buy, but it never ran worth a **** right out of the box. We had a storm come through with some high winds not too long after I bought it, saws were in high demand for guys cleaning up their property, and I dumped it for a minor loss. Bought an MKII shortly thereafter and never looked back.

Yea , the first generation had some issues, but MK II seems to be pretty solid , it definitely spins up the rpm’s 👍

I do like the vinal flooring for a work truck!👍

Congrats on the purchase. I love the vinyl floors in my Dodge, they're perfect for a work truck...I also have Covercraft seat covers in it, so no vacuuming is necessary to keep it clean. I just occasionally blow it out with the air compressor or one of the leaf blowers.
