chroming??

Is there anyone who has had industrial chrome plating done on worn cylinders. I know they use to do it on radial aircraft engines to rebuild them. I could google it, but would rather see if any chainsaw gurus have done it first. Any links to plating companies? I know it's not cheap to do, but it is a special saw.

I have used US Chrome in Wisconsin for some vintage snowmobile and 2 stroke motorcycles. I would imagine they could do chainsaw cylinders too.

Why would one chrome plate when nicisil type coating is available?

US Chrome dont do it the way we were used to it in past. Got to jump through some hoops now.
