Gas Mix, Too Much Oil?

I've been using 93 octane gas. I use a 50:1 mix. Yesterday I mixed a ratio of 43:1 with the 93 octane. (I mixed 4 oz.'s of oil to 1.35 gal. gas)

Is this an OK mix, or is it bad for the saw?

Your mix = 43.2:1 - It won't hurt your saw.

Add another .2125 gallons of 93 octane gas and you'll be right back at 50:1. Better hurry back to the same station though. It would be horrible for your saw if you mixed gas from two different deliveries.:greenchainsaw:

I hope this wasn't a serious question...

My saws have yet to blow up and they get 2.0 gallons of gas and 6oz of oil...

I mix a gal. of 93 octane and 3 oz. of oil. 42.666 to 1 ratio. No problems here.
