    Finding Long Bars

I've spent lots of time looking for long chainsaw bars to fit my 070 and haven't found many options. Seems that most manufacturers stop at 42" or so. I'd like to find a 36-38" bar, a 48-58" bar, and a 72"+ bar I'm aware that the 070 and 090 need either a special bar or custom drilled holes for...

    New to chainsaw mills.

Is a Husqvarna 460 rancher (60 cc) enough to run a 36 inch chainsaw mill through red Oak? I’m thinking about getting one brand new. Alternatively, I have a lead on a used Husqvarna 395 XP. But that would come with a Granberg mill, with wedges, with a ladder, with hearing protection and face...

Echo ES 600 bar and chain question

Hi everyone. Thanks in advance for your time. I recently acquired a 2011 Echo CS-600P chainsaw (I needed new chaps and a helmet and the saw came with them!). My other saws are Stihls (MS271 and MS180). The man who I got the Echo from said it was too much saw for him. I checked all the fluids...

    Help Identifying Chainsaw Bar

Hi, I have a 24” and 36” bar that I received when buying a used 3120XP. I think both are Husqvarna (the 36” came in a Husqvarna cardboard sheath), but neither has a company logo or any naming on the bar itself. The 24” bar had a chain already on it, wrapped in plastic. I’d like to understand...

New old stock Pioneer 3071 bar

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has a list of the various part numbers for the original bars that fit a Pioneer 3071. I'm in the midst of a restoration and looking for a 18" bar with the original logo on it. Ideally new/old stock as the saw is for display. Thanks.

    Chainsaw chain

Is it normal for a chain to barely fit around the bar when installing?

Want to Buy Remington Roller Nose Tip

I've recently acquired 2 NOS (one still has the dealer decal on it) Remington bars but they don't have tips on them. I am looking for a roller tip for these bars. I believe they need the 2.5" diameter roller. Here is a photo of the slot in the end of the bar: The roller tip doesn't have to be...

Want to Buy 140SDEA041 Chainsaw Bar and chain

Looking for a Oregon 140SDEA041 chainsaw blade and chain for a reasonable price. My chain is completely shot and the bar has definitely seen better days. Will even make a trade with someone if interested. Thanks everyone and have a great day!

1998 Husqvarna 254xp guide bar length reduction

Hi from the UK! I have just been gifted 5 acres of mixed woodland (mostly hazel and ash) that has been regularly coppiced for over 20 years. I currently have a Husky 254xp running a 15" guide bar (cutting length). To enable me to get my chainsaw guide bar comfortably between the poles for...

    McCulloch 3516 bar stud replacement

Friend dropped off a MAC 3516 with a loose bar and chain for me to fix. Seems to start and run ok. One bar stud has been cross threaded and stripped in the mid point. Stud does not want to unscrew, and might be inserted from the back. Does anyone know the repair process on this? Thanks.

Want to Buy Used 36" bar for MS460

I need a used bar 36" and chain too if you have one. If you have pretty worn one I could get cheap that would be great. Need it to cut logs up in the river now that the water is finally dropping down. Don't want a new bar for this job
