1984 GMC Sierra squarebody C3500 2 wheel drive cab and chassis with EZ DUMP dump body. Truck is in great shape for its year just passed Mass inspection. I’m not going to list everything I’ve done to this truck, I gladly go thru the whole list with anyone who is interested in the truck. Here are the highlights.
Rebuilt M code small block 350, hooker headers, engine pro 1.6:1 chromoly roller rockers, Weiand street warrior aluminum intake with a dual feed 650 Holley 4bbl with electric choke. This engine runs excellent, sounds awesome and has no trouble pulling this 6200lb truck fully loaded. The trans is the SM465 4speed with a low hole granny gear. It was rebuilt last year I have the documents. Also did all the u joints, carrier bearing. I did the clutch, pressure plate and had the flywheel machined. The whole front end is new, lower control arms, HD SPRINGS, Monroe magnum shocks, tie rods, pitman arm and steering box seals. The rear has 3500lb springs with 500lb over loads, new shackles and hardware. Takes 3000lbs to move them. Axle seals, brakes and most of the brake lines also the hydro boost. The frame is excellent, i needle scaled to bare metal, reinforced and used chassis saver paint, then multiple passes of fluid film every winter. This truck goes off the road in December and back on in March. Hasn’t seen road salt in 7 years. The dump works great, I rebuilt a lot of it, has 2” receiver and a prentice 15 ton pintle/plate.
