Can anyone spit ball what percentage of a cord this truck will hold? I know in advance its a dumb question.

Measure inside LXWXD to get cubic foot total. Divide by 128. Full cord is 4'X8'X4'.128 cu ft.
A face cord is 4' by 8' by length of piece.
Rough guess: A little less than 1/3 cord at the top of the sides.@39 cu ft. I didn't deduct for the wheel wells,though.

I have a 89 S-10 baja w HD suspension.

I load 22" rounds/splits as high as I can stack three rows, cab top level. Then a few in back.

I'd guess > 1/3 cord maybe 1/2. It's fine with that. Keep weight towards front, use tie downs to keep stacks from falling. Don't do it with crappy tires/low air, I have 6 ply michelins. By cord I mean 128 cu ft stacked

My 97 ranger holds about a 1/3 cord of splits. It looks neat packed with 17.5” splits in 4 rows with the tailgate shut. Green stuff is heavy, keep that in mind.

I would think a third of a cord or a "face cord" which is what they sell around here and fits in the back of any pickup truck. Thats thrown in a full size so you may have to stack it in a s10.
