Sold 2x Husqvarna 41 Powerheads

I acquired these as part of a lot of powerheads. I've never gotten around to checking them out or seeing if they run. Mostly complete, only one clutch cover. Motors not locked up. Some rust. Beginnings of mag rot on the cylinders. No bar nuts. Other odds and ends could be missing, but they seem largely completely. Fuel filters will likely need replacing.

I also have a decent to good Husqy 40 piston I'll include. I'm fairly certain they interchange, but not 100%.


I'm open to offers but am thinking $200 shipped to the 48 states.

One of them came with a .325 18" bar attached. I assume that means it's sprocket matched, but I'm not certain.

Note the.hole in one of the two top covers over the muffler.

The other top cover has a heat shield.


I have not inspected the top ends or fuel lines. One still has a little fuel in it that I will drain, as well as any bar oil.

I took a few minutes to get some more info on these two saws.


Both fire and crank. One was erratic and not responsive to tuning. The other got into tune but then faltered, in part due to the gas cap leaking fuel (has a crack and should be considered toast.)


The clutch cover has a crack at the bar nut holes. At least one sprocket is .325, tested with a chain and k095 bar. Likely both are, but they are worn/wearing. Oilers seem to work. I blew off the air filters while I was there.


Both pistons look good with some exception. See photos. One cylinder looks decent, while the other shows some scoring. Photos from exhaust side.

One missing rubber-mount bolt. Could be other missing bits.

All things considered, I'll keep the price at $200 shipped in the 48.


I am looking for a known good used or new 543xp carb (OEM.) May also be open to other offers, but mostly looking for $ right now.
