Does anyone know what the clearance needs to be between the coil pickups and the flywheel on a Husky 353 that I'm putting together?
Thanks

I had trouble finding this gap info for a Stihl I worked on recently, so I just used a business card. I put the card in position against the coil unit and rotated the flywheel to where the magnet pulled the pickup unit in tight with the card in between. Tightened down the two screws on the coil assembly and pulled out the business card. Don't know it the gap is exactly "to spec", but the saw seems to run fine.Does anyone know what the clearance needs to be between the coil pickups and the flywheel on a Husky 353 that I'm putting together?
