Yes, for the short time I had it it was smooth as silk. I favor it over the 462 I had, For me at least. The 462 is amazing for it's weight and power. Just like the huskys more but I'm using my 562 and echo 620 more and the this 572 sits. The anti vibe on the 572 is so so good.
Yes Sir they are smooth, I like them & the true full wrap is sweet. I wish Stihl would offer an actual full rather than 3/4 wrap. I’m trying to buy back one of the 461’s I sold back in the fall or I would consider this saw.

I have arthritis in my fingers so bad that springs feel as bad as rubber mounts. I will consider yours if this falls through.I don’t need another saw but you know how it is
Ha! I do, nothing worse than having to get rid of one to get another. My left elbow has cartilage damage and aches badly but I've noticed much much less fatigue with the new husky saws, specifically the 562 and 572.I sold several I had (461r’s) to pay some bills down & I have really regretted not keeping one.
