So here’s the backstory, purchases this saw from a member on this site a little over a year ago with an air leak, so I purchased the saw and immediately tore it town, here is the list of parts I replaced…
-Intake manifold/ partition
-both crank bearings and seals
-piston and rings had been replaced before I got the saw
- repaired heated hand grips wiring, they work now
- split crank case in order to replace seals and bearings, new crank case gasket of course
-New clutch and sprocket
I also purchased a brand new 28 inch Husqvarna bar and chain for the saw, the saw has a muffler mod, as well as base gasket delete, and let me tell you it’s a hoss of a saw, I’ve got it tuned where I like it and after rebuilding the saw I only had a couple of opportunities to run it (maybe 3 hours of run time) which shows on the bar and chain. Saw ran beautifully for several months, then i noticed it would sometimes idle just fine and then other times it would race a little and stall only if you let it sit and idle for a bit. I discovered there is a small air leak somewhere on the carburetor, I haven’t gotten around to pressure testing to determine where exactly the leak is on the carb, but it’s definitely the issue. I haven’t run the saw much regardless, since I purchased a 572 shortly after this saw, so I use it more than anything, I just hate to see the 576 sit. Would like $450 PHO, $550 if you’d like the new bar and chain along with it. Price is of course negotiable, I replaced several little cosmetic parts on the saw as well such as the top cover clips, but thanks for reading! Figured I’d see if there was anyone that needs the saw more than I do! PM for any questions!

Don’t have any pics, but about 2 months ago when I removed the top end to check it out all looked great,I’ll have to get some pics through the exhaust port when I get home tonight, I don’t think the lean outs are bad enough to cause damage, it’s never leaned out while actively running the saw, only if you leave it to idle for a extended period of time
