I've had an 026 for 20 yrs. It never ran real well. I tunes it, the dealer tuned it twice and still runs fast no matter what I do. I tuned it just the other day and it went goofy. It idles low, then high, then runs funny. When it is running , it runs fine. Never cared for the saw and should have bought another 034. That was my second saw. I never did a thing to that saw except had an electronic ignition go bad and they replaced it for free . It was 10 yrs old when tha happened.
