I have a Stihl ms261 C-M (mTronic) that is just plain stock with an 18" Rollomatic E bar and green labeled chain (I believe that is RM3). So the current specs are:
Bar type: Rollomatic E
Bar length: 18"
Bar pitch: 0.325"
Nose sprocket: 11 tooth
Bar groove: 1.6mm / 0.063"
Chain pitch: 0.325"
Chain type: RM3
Chain drive link gauge: 1.6mm / 0.063"
Chain drive sprocket: 7-tooth, 0.325" rim sprocket

I want to swap out for a Light 04 bar which I believe uses a 1.3mm gauge chain.

If I get a Light 04 and 1.3mm gauge 0.325" pitch chain, do I need to change anything else? Will my drive sprocket be compatible with the new bar & chain? I want to stay with 18" length, if anyone could confirm part numbers for the new bar and chain that would be greatly appreciated.

This is the standard gauge of chain that Stihl has been selling in Canada for years on .325 saws. Works like a charm. I personally run the 16" Light 04 bar on my 261CM and love it.
