Or, should I just get rid of it?
I bought lots of saplings from the Forestry dept. a while back, most of them were culls to begin with, but I planted them hoping they would turn out okay.
Some have, some haven't.
This one got hit my the mower, I cut it down to the ground but it's come back up.
Three shoots, the best-looking one got hit again, leaving a semi-straight leader.
The other two shoots are weaker.
The large tree in the photo was planted at the same time this one was - also a cull, but I've been working on it to straighten it up.
