Asplundh chipper manual help

Hello, I am looking for a manual for a 2012 12” asplundh whisper chipper.

The problem I am having is after I chip with it for about 10 minutes it loses fuel pressure and shuts itself off. I changed the fuel pump and the problem still continues. Any help is appreciated.

Check your radiator. I run a similar type of chipper, and in the past the radiator would get so clogged with dust that the motor would overheat and a sensor would shut down the chipper to prevent damage from overheating. A combination of brushing the radiator clean on the outside, and blowing it clean with compressed air from both sides would cure the condition.

I had the same problem when I owned one. Check your fuel filter. When we changed that it ran like a champ.

Thanks, I forgot to mention I also changed the fuel filter. I will try to get a hold of altec

Thank you for the response, I did not think of trying that. I will do that tonight, I am curious to see how dusty/dirty it is
