If it earns me any street cred with the experts, I worked for a tree service in high school and college. Ground crew due and worked my way to the stump grinder. Loved it!!
Here's my question. The tree was planted spring of 2020 and I didn't notice this summer that it developed 3 leaders that were going in 3 different directions. I removed the two were the least desirable, but now I'm left with the one that aiming off to the west (see the photos). Should I wrap a splint to the trunk and tie the lone ranger to the splint to get it going straight up again? It already has a little lean it to the west and I'd like to correct that if possible or if you tell me it will sort itself out, I'll leave it alone
Thanks in advance.
