Birkshire wood stove question

My son was given a wood stove but the flue is an odd size 6 5/8 ths . Does anyone make one or do I need to fab one up? Or am I looking at this wrong ?

I'd bet it's 7" outside to outside, 7" ID should fit over it nicely.

That will let creosote leak out onto the stove top. When you choke it down for the night, you'll wake up to nasty acrid smoke.

They make crimpers for stovepipe. A crimped 7" would probably slip in.

Might try Rockford Chimney . They can fabricate stuff out of 316 SS but it's not cheap. I don't think the adapter would break the bank.

I got a complete system from them, stove to chimney cap, that fits into an existing fireplace. Did so so I wouldn't have to hack the fireplace, just remove the damper. SS flue is flexible and goes from cap , to a T- w/cleanout to stove. T- is inside fireplace. UL listed lifetime warranty.
