Hi Folks, got a question about carb tuning. Thought my MS461 was perfectly tuned. But it took 10 pulls on full choke to fire it. Once fired in normal start, seems that idle is too high, so I have to retune it. How often do you guys see this while breakin period?
Cheers

Every time. It never seems to be the same after a rebuild, at least a little bit. It will also change during break in. And whenever the temperature changes a significant amount. You get the idea, rare to have a saw that never needs retuning every so often.

Thanks for the reply!

Retuned the carb now. Will see in the afternoon if it stays

Fuel line has a leak, there was fuel on the handle after tuning the carb. Replaced the line, and set the basic tune. I then started the saw. Took 5 pulls on full choke, and 1 on normal start. Looks good now
