Craftsman 2.3/16 (model #358.352350) with Oregon Bar and 3/8 lo-pro chain. $75+shipping or would trade for usable piston/cylinder for a Poulan 3700/4000
So a lil history on this saw.. My dad bought it new back in the late 70's/early 80's timeframe. We used it on the farm for clearing fallen trees and fencelines.. maybe a couple of hours a year use. We used it until 2000 or so when he bought a newer Echo saw. I brought this one with me when I bought my own place 10 years or so ago. It would not run so I bought a carb kit and repaired the carb...still would not run...so I got tired of messing with it and stuck it in the corner of the shed... Well yesterday, I found it again and decided to pull it out and work on it. I pulled the carb out and took it apart and discovered that 10 years ago , in my frustration, I put the gaskets in wrong... so I ran the carb through my cleaner and reassembled it CORRECTLY and got it running.. Although all the carb parts are brand new...they have sat for 10 years...
I took it out and cut a couple of cookies with it. The saw runs and pulls good but the chain itself is a little less than impressive... A little extra tweaking of the carb screws may be in order.. I just had them set at the initial 1 turn out..
Took the muffler off and cylinder looks good.
Piston has some slight scoring.
If any other questions please feel free to ask.
