Hey all, a buddy of mine sent the attached image to me. I'm not sure what's going on. Maybe severe chlorosis? I'm puzzled. Have a look and see what you think

I think if it were chlorosis it would be more associated with the veins in its pattern. The colour makes me think of a scorch of some kind, the patterning leads me to it being progressive either from the inside out or the other way around.
