Echo CS-361P -an overlooked gem in the saw world?

Our 361WES is two years old and hasn't skipped a beat. We'll get another when the time comes.
Dogging it in to seasoned solid red oak, The Echo here is not ported, but all the other saws are(with the Makita having eyebrow ports). We haven't felt a need to port the Echo yet:

Just watched the video. Not sure if that helped or hurt the 361 reputation haha.

Seemed to be performing well enough though!

I waited to buy the cs3510 it should be about the same stock hp and I think it weights just a tad less (8 or 8.1 pounds)than the cs361p and I saved $150 dollars. (I wanted the cs361p until I learned about the cs3510) I would like to see these two saws go head to head stock and muffler modded.I like my cs3510 good limbing saw. Not much for felling anything more than 10 inches or so but small limbs its pretty fast. Best part is I can use it all day long and not be completely exhausted on these 90 degree days with 70% humidity.

Echo dropped the price $50 on the 361P this year. I'd immediately buy another if mine disappeared.

MSRP: $349.99 - $359.99 * Did they used to be a $400 saw?​

My dealer doesn't do sales days. If anything is higher than MSRP on Echo brands.

Yep, was $390-400 when I got mine right after they came out.
