Hope it’s ok to jump in here. Clearing blowdown south of atlanta. By far heaviest wood I’ve ever handled. Thought was some type hickory but couple of friends suggested Black Locust. Would welcome any input. I ripped a section and wet it to show grain. Thanks!!
