I haven't ran a 592 or a 661c so I cant have an opinion on that, THATS WHY I WAS ASKING YOU. If I had ran them, I wouldn't be so concerned with your opinion because I would then have one of my own. For the saws that I have ran and compared, ms660, 390xp, 372xp, 372xpw, 576xp, ms461, ms460, ms441c, 572AT (those are the ones in our rotation right now) the 500i will spank and embarrass every single one of them and do it at several pounds less weight than some of them.
Numbers on paper and numbers in the real world are sometimes two different things. A built 350 small block SHOULDNT be able to outrun a built 396 built big block, but they sometimes DO!

Hi all, I’m in eastern Australia and have 592XP. Had it for almost a year. I spend 3 or 4 days a week blocking Ironbark for firewood. Great saw, but can’t say it’s without issues. 2 muffler failures in first 3 months. First one the centre screw fitting failed and left a gaping whole. Second muffler developed cracks in the welds around one of the mounting tubes. Also had issues with the top cover badly hitting/rubbing the engine cooling fins. I’ve heard Husqvarna are modifying design of top cover. The outside felling spikes have also failed twice, but that could be my fault with wood twisting while cutting.

Does anyone know if there are any aftermarket larger felling dogs for the 592XP?
