That would be a big negative. I live on Mt Wilson, the forgotten side of Gretna. Not allowed to cut on game land at all around here anymore.

I'd take pine too. That's mostly what's available over on this coast, and it burns and heats my house fine. Plus beggars can't be choosers, free wood is free wood.

Some of them are so busy after big storms they don't have time to process the wood
into firewood and they will give it to you rather than hauling it to the local dump and pay a
fee.If he is taking a tree down on Saturday show up because the ground crew always needs extra help. They are cutting and you can be dragging especially the tops then wack them up and load.
